A unique product developed by CABAC and now used by many authorities. It simply works by creating an unstable swivelling jacket around the overhead cable, and the possum falls off the cable if he walks along it. Simply attach a number of plastic swivels around the conductor, located in place with a cable tie, and your possum problems disappear.

Installation Instruction

1. Prepare the possum guard : Remove the specialised plastic sleeve "possum guard" from the pack.
2. Wrap the cable: Wrap the possum guard around the cable you wish to protect. Ensure the sleeve covers the area where possums are likely to climb.
3. Secure the ends: Use cable ties to firmly secure both ends of the possum guard sleeve to the cable. Make sure the ties are tight enough to prevent the sleeve from sliding or moving.
4. Check the installation: Verify that the possum guard is loosely fitted around the cable and that the ends are securely fastened. The sleeve should create a slippery rotating surface, preventing possums from gaining a foothold.
