Why horse shoe

A standard weatherproof cover has to sit open when something is plugged in, which lets water at the connection. The horse shoe design has a cut-out for the lead, so the cover closes around it. Essential for pumps, pool equipment, fridges in the garage and anything left permanently connected outdoors.
