What IP65 and IK09 mean
IP65 means the enclosure is fully dust tight and will handle water jetted at it from any direction - suitable outdoors and in wash down areas, though not for immersion. IK09 is an impact rating, meaning it will take a solid knock without cracking. Both matter in a garage or workshop where a board can get hit.
Sizing the enclosure
Count the modules you need, then allow room to grow. A main switch takes 2 modules, a single pole MCB takes 1 and an RCBO usually takes 2. Filling a board to capacity on day one means replacing it at the next addition.
