Why 3 wire matters with LEDs
A 2 wire sensor borrows current through the load to power itself, which causes LED fittings to flicker or glow faintly when they should be off. A 3 wire sensor has its own neutral, so the load switches cleanly. On any LED installation, 3 wire is the one you want.
